Jason Kilgore C.S.
Jason Kilgore entered the beverage industry as an 18-year-old kid with the intention of moonlighting as a barback. His first position was at Zebra’s Bistro in Medfield and within a year he quickly rose through the ranks and found himself bartending full time. It was here that Kilgore’s insatiable curiosity led him to discover his passion for the art of pairing food and wine.
Kilgore decided to broaden his repertoire by attending the Cambridge School of Culinary Arts. Upon graduation, Kilgore took over as Beverage Director at Zebra’s and developed an award winning wine list and a whimsical cocktail program. He most recently held a position at Deuxave Restaurant & Bar where he worked under the close guidance of his mentor, Sommelier Jason Irving. Kilgore has since successfully completed the Level 2 certification from the Court of Master Sommeliers. With devotion for pushing the boundaries of new and obscure ingredients while staying focused on tradition, Kilgore has found not only a career but a life long passion. Kilgore will seal his love for wine and libations in his new role as Beverage Manager of Catalyst.
